...and for the past 25 years
at the Michigan Women’s Hall of Fame, we have done just that
-- celebrating the achievements of
outstanding historical and contemporary Michigan women. Now, we are bringing that history to
life in a 60-minute television special featuring in-depth interviews with some of the top women
in Michigan history and highlighting some of Michigan’s greatest contemporary women leaders.
Gladys Beckwith shares her incredible story and her vision for the Michigan Women’s Historical
Center and Hall of Fame.

This 60-minute documentary will be broadcasted on Michigan public television
stations beginning on Sunday, March 22, 2009, in celebration of Women’s History Month, and will repeat
as part of PBS 'On Demand' programming during April and May. A DVD compilation
is now available
for sale for $15.00 (plus $3.00
postage and handling) and all proceeds will benefit the
Michigan Womens Historical Center and Hall of Fame. |
